WE ALL WANT OUR COMMUNITY TO THRIVE

The United Way of Greater Fort Dodge is focused on long-term solutions by supporting disadvantaged youth and helping struggling families become more stable and self-sufficient. We aren't just giving out funds and making quick fixes. We are working with partner agencies to address the root causes of these issues to make a lasting change in the community.

STRONGER GOALS, STRONGER COLLABORATION

Today there are many families in the Fort Dodge area that are struggling due to job loss or a cut in working hours. These families with children often find themselves in crisis situations. We are committed to helping these families during their time of crisis so they can become stable and self-sufficient.

CREATING A LASTING CHANGE

An important part of United Way's mission is to help our youth reach their full potential so they can thrive and become productive future citizens, parents and employees. Many of these youth will become an important part of our labor force in the next five, ten and fifteen years. A small investment in their well-being today can make a real difference for them tomorrow and for the long-term success of our community.

Every child deserves to have hope. As a community we must work together to ensure that every child has a chance to grow up health and happy and with a true sense of hope for a brighter future. That is a foundational principle behind the United Way Campaign. By supporting basic needs and enrichment programs, United Way donations truly touch the lives of hundreds of youth in life-changing ways.
